Interested in a career in medicine, dentistry, health, or natural sciences? We’ll help you prepare.
Our bachelor of science program in biology is rigorous and expansive. Students complete 120 credits of college level work, including the 27-credit core curriculum, 27-credit major requirement and 18 elective credits, that provides a broad background in the biological sciences.
With a little planning, you can also transition seamlessly into one of our graduate programs to complete your professional training.
In addition to required courses in biology and inorganic chemistry, you can choose electives that range from human genetics to parasitology. If you’re up for the challenge, you can opt to submit a senior honors project.
Students must earn a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 and at least a 2.3 in their major to graduate.
