Binna Lee, PhD

Dr. Binna Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Graduate Program in Speech-Language Pathology at Touro College. She received her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Columbia University and her Ph.D. in Communicative Sciences and Disorders (CSD) from New York University. Her clinical and research interest includes acquired neurogenic communication disorders, bilingualism and multiculturalism, and acquired dysgraphia in post-stroke patients. Of particular interest is the subcortical processing of formulaic expressions in neurologically-impaired bilinguals. Dr. Lee is a certified speech-language pathologist, accredited with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and holds licensure to practice in New York and New Jersey. She is also a member of the Brain and Behavior Laboratory at the Nathan Kline Institute for Psychiatric Research in Orangeburg, New York. Her research in the laboratory focuses on speech and language function in persons diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, aphasia, and schizophrenia. Dr. Lee's professional activities include membership in local, state, and national professional organizations.
