How to Apply

I: Go to apply.touro.edu and create your application account. Please note if you had previously applied to Touro College for any other undergraduate or graduate program, you will need to create a new application. Do not log onto a previous application.

After entering the personal information, you will come to the ‘academic plan’ section of the application. In this section you will have to choose the campus you wish to attend.

  1. Under Location choose ‘Touro College’
  2. Under School/College to which you wish to apply choose ‘Touro College School of Health Science’;
  3. Under Degree Program/Location for which you wish to apply you will choose ‘Speech Language Pathology Brooklyn.’

II: Three (3) letters of recommendation are required. In the Recommender section you will need to enter information about each recommender. When asked ‘What division or program are you applying to?’ make sure to select Health Science Speech Pathology. Each recommender will then receive a secure link where the recommender will be able to upload the letter of recommendation.
 
The recommendation letters are to be completed by at least two of your college instructors who are Speech-Language Pathologists or Audiologists and have personal knowledge of your scholastic abilities. If you graduated some time ago, and cannot obtain a meaningful appraisal, you may submit a reference from an employer who can evaluate your work from the standpoint of a supervisor.
 
III: Application fee. Prior to submitting the application, you will need to pay the application fee. The regular application fee for the February 6 deadline is $50. Any late application received after February 6th will only be considered with a $75 application fee once all of the regular applicants have been processed and seats are still available. This fee is non-refundable and will not be credited towards tuition.
 
IV: A copy of your Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores should be sent directly from the Educational Testing Service (ETS) - www.ets.org/gre - Touro College’s code is 2902, department code 0620.
 
V: Transcripts and Scholarly Work. Any scholarly or professional written workyou have completed (articles, reports, project summaries, etc.) related to your field of intended study can be submitted in support of your application. Electronic transcripts (from secure transcript services) can be emailed to admissions.speech@touro.edu.
