Karen Schwartz

Dr. Karen Schwartz is assistant professor in the Graduate Program in Speech-Language Pathology. Dr. Schwartz earned her M.S. from Teacher’s College, Columbia University and Doctorate of Clinical Audiology from A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS). Dr. Schwartz’s clinical expertise is in the areas of clinical diagnostic audiology, aural rehabilitation and advanced amplification technology. She has extensive experience in diagnostic testing of the developmentally delayed and difficult to test population. She currently teaches graduate courses in advanced Audiology and Speech of the Hearing Impaired. Dr. Schwartz is responsible for administration and supervision of audiological services at the Touro Speech and Hearing Center. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Audiology (AAA).
