Students may request to withdraw from the program by submitting a letter or email of written intent to their Program Director. Five days or greater of unexcused absence (without compelling circumstance) from class is considered an official request for withdrawal, independent of whether or not a signed letter or email of intent is received. Students withdrawing from the Program must meet with the Bursar and Financial Aid Offices to discuss the financial implications and additional processes concerning their withdrawal.

In cases of academic dismissal, tuition paid in advance for the term immediately following the dismissal date will be 100% refundable.
Students may withdraw from the Program as per the School of Health Sciences (SHS) catalog. A student who withdraws within the first 8 weeks of a semester will receive a grade of “W” on their transcript. It is mandatory that the student meets with Student Services (Bursar, Financial Aid and Registrar) to discuss possible tuition liability (see above).
