WHO AND HOW WE SERVE
We evaluate children and adolescents aged 6-18. Advanced PsyD students conduct the assessment with supervision from licensed psychologists.

The Touro University Psychoeducational Assessment Center is housed within the School of Health Sciences and operated directly by the Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) Program in Clinical Psychology, Health Emphasis.
Our center is dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based, and reasonable-cost psychoeducational evaluations to support individuals 6-18 years of age. All evaluations are conducted by advanced PsyD doctoral students under the direct supervision of licensed clinical psychologists.
Our HIPPA compliant evaluation services are available to children and adolescents ages 6-18. The Center's comprehensive evaluations are specifically intended to:
- Inform Clinical Care and Treatment Planning: We help clarify diagnostic profiles to refine psychotherapy focus, build actionable home/parenting strategies, and design personalized wellness strategies.
- Inform Educational Planning Across All Settings: Our tailored assessments provide the crucial documentation needed for K–12 academic planning—including IEP, 504, and MTSS accommodation frameworks—as well as postsecondary/college disability and accessibility accommodations. Recommendations reflect findings at the time of testing and are intended as clinical and educational guidance. They do not, by themselves, establish eligibility for accommodations, as schools and colleges make their own determinations under applicable laws and policies.
- Support Client Self-Understanding: We help clients identify personal learning, attention, emotional, and behavioral patterns. This empowers individuals and families to communicate more effectively with healthcare providers, schools, and community supports.
By offering this service at a rate of $850/evaluation, the Center ensures that high-quality psychological evaluations are widely accessible to the community. Please note that the Psychoeducational Assessment Center does not accept or bill insurance directly. Upon request, families will be provided with an itemized invoice that may be submitted to their insurance provider for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
