Richard earned his B.A. in Psychology from Manhattan University (formerly Manhattan College) and an M.A. in General Psychology from Touro University. His previous research experience includes a mixed methods analysis of the expression of PTSD symptomatology in Sri Lanka.

Focus Area/Interests

Richard's current research interest is understanding the cognitive and affective components of basic social interactions, to apply them to the unique experiences of LGBTQ+ individuals.
