Dr. Weill is a certified speech language pathologist, who holds a license both in New York and New Jersey. She received her M.A. in speech pathology from Teacher's College, Columbia University in 1992, and her Ph.D. from Seton Hall University in 2011. Her dissertation involved researching the role of verbal working memory in new word learning in toddlers 24 to 30 months old. Her interests include early language development, language acquisition, cognition, Autism Spectrum Disorders, evidence-based practice, and the use of counseling in clinical practice.
She has practiced as a Speech Language Pathologist in Israel and has served as the founder and director of the Neve Yerushalayim - Ma'alot Speech and Language Clinic. She has taught at Ma'alot Jerusalem, at the Michlala Jerusalem College, at Seton Hall University and at Marymount Manhattan College. She has served as a consultant at the French-American Academy of New Milford, NJ since 2012.
Dr. Weill has run an active private practice in Riverdale, NY from 1992 to 1996 and currently runs a private practice in Teaneck, NJ. She is fluent in French, English and Hebrew. She is a member of ASHA, of NJSHA (New Jersey Speech-Language-Hearing Association) of NYSHA (New York Speech-Language-Hearing Association), of ISHLA (Israeli Speech, Hearing and Language Association) and of IASCL (International Association for the Study of Child Language).
Dr. Weill is currently Associate Professor at the Graduate Program in Speech Language Pathology of Touro University, where she has been a faculty member since 2006.
