(On behalf of the administration and faculty, I look forward to welcoming you to the Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program (OPTR) at Touro College's School of Health Sciences. This exciting program is designed to provide you, the therapist, with an opportunity to develop your skills and clinical reasoning in the area of orthopedic physical therapy. We have designed a program that is strong academically and clinically and is staffed by an exceptional faculty committed to our profession and to patient care. From our outstanding clinical coursework, to the guided clinical integration through online mentoring, to the culminating clinical residency, the program provides a foundation for excellence in clinical practice. In addition, the focus of the curriculum is to help prepare the resident for the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) exam. We hope you will partner with us in furthering your education and advancing your career.
