Covid-19 Admissions Update

The Touro College Physician Assistant Programs are fully prepared for the 2020-2021 academic year to commence following all federal and state guidelines for in-person (labs and experientials) and remote instruction.

Due to COVID-19 related obstacles, the following adjustments will be made to our admissions requirements provided that all other academic and GPA requirements are met.  

  • Applications will be accepted and processed without completed Direct Patient Care experience and/or PA shadowing hours with the understanding that these hours will be completed as soon as permissible and may be required in the event of acceptance if circumstances allow.   
  • If applicants are unable to obtain a letter of recommendation from a Physician Assistant, three written recommendations, submitted through CASPA will be accepted. In the event of acceptance, a letter of recommendation from a PA may be required, if circumstances allow.
