Debra Cullinane, OTD, OTR/L, CAPS is a graduate from Touro University’s OT program, class of 2001 and is a former OT clinical fieldwork educator for Touro. She earned her Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree in 2017. Debra joined Touro as an adjunct faculty for the Manhattan campus in January 2015 and has been a full-time faculty member on the Long Island NY campus since December 2018. She has extensive clinical occupational therapy experience in adult physical disabilities, gerontology, and adult homecare. Her current research topics are pelvic floor health and client-centered occupations for older adults. Debra was a co-presenter for a poster presentation at the 2020 NYSOTA Conference about Virtual Health Promotion Fieldwork Experiences within Assisted Living Facilities: Keeping Adults Connected during COVID-19. She was a co-writer for a published article in the Journal of Occupational Therapy Education, Community-Based OT Program Planning: A Virtual Level II Fieldwork Program Developed in Response to the Global Pandemic. Debra currently serves on several Touro University committees.
