Dareum received her bachelor's from SUNY Binghamton and master's from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She has six years of clinical experience in mental health, including four years working specifically with problem-solving courts to address various problems that justice-involved individuals face. Her previous research includes understanding the effects of school bonds, school climate, and discipline techniques on juvenile delinquency.
