Dr. Ozoda Alnajar is a dual board-certified Adult–Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP-C, AGPCNP-BC) with more than 12 years of experience in diverse healthcare settings, including nursing homes, home care, substance use treatment programs, and healthcare administration. She currently practices as a nurse practitioner at King David Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, where she manages and treats complex geriatric patients, focuses on preventing hospitalizations, and participates in palliative and end-of-life care discussions with patients and families. She is also involved in mentoring new clinicians and providing staff education on regulatory compliance, documentation, and quality improvement.
Dr. Alnajar earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Capella University and her Master of Science in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner from Long Island University. Her clinical background includes experience as a registered nurse and licensed practical nurse in home care, long-term care, and substance use recovery settings.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Alnajar has experience in teaching and language interpretation and is fluent in English, Russian, and Tajik. She is committed to providing compassionate, culturally competent care to diverse patient populations and contributing to the advancement of nursing practice through education, mentorship, and community service.
