Upon graduating from Spelman, Bambi decided to pursue a career in nursing. She graduated from Touro College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has an interest in the field of Oncology. This inspired Bambi to begin her nursing career as a clinical nurse at Maimonides Medical Center. There she worked with oncology patients where she performed initial assessments; worked with the primary healthcare providers to plan, implement and evaluate care for oncology and medical/surgical patients. Bambi is Oncology Nursing Society certified to administer chemotherapy. In every encounter, she enthusiastically provides patients with education about various topics including medication therapy and self-care techniques. Currently, she is a clinical nurse in Emergency Nursing where she is challenged with caring for critical care patients.
