Victor Politi, MD, MBA, FACP, FACEP
Victor F. Politi, MD, FACP, FACEP, is Vice President of External Clinical Affairs and Chief Medical Director of the Physician Assistant Program, and also serves as a (DPA) Doctorate Physician Associate Program/Medical Director for Touro University Nevada.
Dr. Politi is a physician who trained at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and the Medical Center at Princeton, New Jersey. He received his undergraduate degree from St. John’s University in Healthcare and Urban Health and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Molloy College. Dr. Politi served as an emergency department attending physician, Director and Chairman of the Divisional Executive Committee and Central Executive Board of the Caritas Hospital System. Afterward, he served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for Cornerstone Treatment Facilities Network, a privately owned OASAS certified hospital system, specializing in addiction medicine. Dr. Politi completed a residency in Internal Medicine and an additional Occupational and Environmental Medicine residency at UMDNJ-RWJ Medical School. Dr. Politi also held the position of Police Surgeon for Nassau County Police Department and is a volunteer firefighter in his local community. He serves as Medical Director for various fire departments and volunteer ambulance corps. Dr. Politi is also a subject matter expert and instructor for the Counter Terrorism Operation Support Group, Nevada National Security Site, managed and operated by Mission Support and Test Services to provide specialized training in chemical and biological emergencies and Bio-terrorism, having traveled to Israel to participate in the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) World Summit at Reichman University.
Dr. Politi is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Emergency Medicine and a member of the American Board of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. Dr. Politi serves on the Regional Emergency Medical Service Council for New York City as well as Nassau County. Dr. Politi completed medical school while working as a police officer for the New York City Police Department, rising to the rank of Lieutenant in the Emergency Service Unit.
